Showing Asian Volatilities in the Term Structure Page

In the Term Structure page you can instruct the system to display the Asian volatilities. This is the implied volatility for an ATMF Asian option for each contract month. The value displayed for each contract is the mid implied volatility of the default Asian, i.e., an Asian with its expiry set to the end of the month, with daily fixings and an ATM strike.

By default, this data is not displayed in the page. To see this data you must click the Show Asian Vols button.

Once you have displayed the Asian volatilities, the button becomes the Recalculate Asian Vols button until you close the page. Accordingly, as long as the page remains open you can then click the Recalculate Asian Vols button to recalculate the Asian volatilities. This is useful if, for example, you have manually edited a number of futures in the page and you want to see how this will affect the Asian volatilities.

If you click the Refresh button, the Asian volatilities are refreshed as well, i.e., based on the refreshed values of the rest of the data in the term structure.
