Using the Keyboard in SDX Commodities & Energy

You can use the keyboard to carry out certain functions in SDX Commodities & Energy without a mouse.

You can:

Navigate fields (in either of the pricing pages and the Volatility Surface)

You can move:

Forward using TAB or ENTER.

Backward using SHIFT+TAB together.

Select an item in a dropdown menu (such as an option class or currency pair)

You do this using the Up and Down arrow keys.

Exit a dropdown list without making any changes

You do this using ESC.

Define a commodity and option class

You open the list using the right or down arrow keys; you navigate through the list using the Up and Down arrow keys; you can open sub menus using the right arrow key, etc.

In addition you can use the keyboard's function keys as follows:

F2 calculates the current option, portfolio or volatility surface.

F4 refreshes the rates displayed in the page.

F7 generates the risk charts.

F8 activates the Solver.

F9 clears the current option/portfolio.

F10 lets you open a saved portfolio.

F12 save the current option/portfolio.

F11 adds the current option to an existing portfolio.
