Clearing an Instrument

In the Single Option page, once you have specified an instrument’s details all these details can then be cleared. You do this by clicking the Clear button in the pricing page or the <F9> key on the keyboard.

This action clears all data input by the user, including market data (such as the fixed rate, or the ATMF Volatility and the Forward rate) that is dependent on user-input data (such as the swap term or tenor) as well as any Greeks and values calculated by SDX Interest Rates.

To clear the fields in the Single Option page:

1. In the Single Option page define an instrument.
2. Click Clear or press the <F9> key.
3. Click Yes. The fields you entered manually are cleared. The fields filled in by the system are not cleared.
