An American one touch (aot) is an option with an American barrier.
If at any time during the option's lifetime this barrier:
Is hit, the payout is activated. That is, the buyer of the option receives the fixed payout specified in the option on the option's delivery date in the base currency.
Is not hit, there is no payout.
