There are a number of shortcuts you can use in SDX Interest Rates.
You can use shortcuts to:
Price an instrument using the Shortcut field in the pricing pages. For more information see Pricing an Instrument Using the Shortcut Free Text Field.
Select an instrument type. For more information, see Selecting an Instrument Using a Shortcut.
Specify an amount. For more information, see Using Amount Shortcuts.
Enter a time period. For more information, see Using Shortcuts for Dates.
Define a strike. For more information, see Defining a Strike.
Define a relative index reference for a strike, fixed rate, cap rate, etc. For more information, see Defining a Relative Strike, Cap Rate or Fixed Rate.
To enter one of the shortcuts:
1. | Click the field to be filled. |
2. | If the field is not empty, delete its contents. |
3. | Type the required shortcut in the field. |
4. | To confirm the entry, do one of the following: |
Press <TAB> on the keyboard.
Press <Enter> on the keyboard.
Click anywhere in the SDX Interest Rates window outside of the field.
The desired field value is displayed.
